Join your friends & neighbors at Hyde Park Mennonite Fellowship, located at 1520 N 12th Street in the heart of the North End to hear about upcoming events, fundraisers, historic preservation efforts, developments that will impact the North End, or just stop by to say hello! NENA Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month from 7-9pm, except December, when we break for the holidays.  
 
October's meeting is NENA's annual meeting and board election and will be held on Tuesday, the 29th. What to expect at the Annual Meeting: a recap of 2024's happenings, six board seats will be up for vote, and FREE scoops of ice cream (thank you, Goody's!). Interested in a board position? Let us know in advance so we can include your name on our ballots, or nominate a worthy candidate from the floor at the meeting.

What's a typical NENA meeting like?

Meetings are informal and friendly, but we try to follow a standard agenda format. Agendas are set and posted prior to each meeting, but typically follow a standard format: 

 

REGULAR ITEMS

  1. Welcome & Roll Call

  2. Approval of Minutes and Motions from the past month

  3. Guest speakers or presenter, specific topic of discussion

  4. Treasurer's Report

 

COMMITTEE UPDATES:

  1. Hyde Park Street Fair updates

  3. Planning & Zoning Committee updates

  4. Streets Committee updates

  5. Legislative updates (when the state legislature is in session)
