Getting to Hyde Park Street Fair

Traffic and parking can be extremely challenging on the North End's narrow and congested neighborhood streets during Fair weekend. We urge you to consider an alternative mode of transportation to arrive, and have partnered with the City of Boise, Valley Regional Transit, and Lime Scooters to make getting to the Fair easier and more accessible. North End residents appreciate your help in making this a fun & successful event for all!

Bicycles: A free bike corral is available during Fair hours. Anyone parking their bike in the corral will receive a raffle ticket entry to win a FREE Electra Cruiser bike courtesy of Idaho Mountain Touring. Two bikes will be raffled off on Sunday afternoon, with the winning names announced from the Main Stage. Winners do not need to be present. No purchase necessary. Raffle entries can be received by non-bike riders at the Bike Corral or at the North End Neighborhood Association Information Booth.

Valley Regional Transit: Park your car at 300 W Fort Street, in the school parking lot, starting at 4:15pm on Friday. VRT busses will be picking up directly across the street and dropping off at 13th & Ridenbaugh (about two blocks from the Fair), making for a quick and easy walk. Busses will run every 30 minutes during the following hours:

Friday: 4:15pm - 6:45pm (Standard Fare)

Friday: 6:45pm - 10:00pm (Free Fare)

Saturday: 3:45pm - 10:00pm (Free Fare)

Sunday: NO SERVICE

**Due to school in session, the park & ride lot at 300 W Fort Street is not available prior to 4:15pm on Friday.

Downtown Parking: Park at the downtown Boise garage located at 1101 W Front Street for a special all-day rate of $5 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - no validation required! From the garage, you can ride Valley Regional Transit bus #16 to Hyde Park, grab a Lime Scooter, or Uber/Lyft closer to Camel's Back Park. Please note that while parking is free all three days in the downtown garages, there is no bus service on Sunday, so you will need to scooter, uber, walk, or carpool, etc.
