Inaugural HPSF Parade

Everyone Loves a Parade!

The first ever Hyde Park Street Fair Parade will commence Saturday, September 17th at 11 am on 13th and Franklin. Creativity is key! Humans, animals, musical instruments, puppets, and people-powered vehicles only (no motors will be allowed). Costumes, witty themes, politicians, beauty queens and festive decor are  highly encouraged.

The Parade will travel north on 13th Street and will end at the Hyde Park Street Fair’s Main Stage. If you’d like to parade with us, please meet at 10:30 am in the First Baptist Church parking lot. Email parade@ northendboise.org for group entries, volunteer opportunities, and questions.

Parking & Shuttle Info

Hyde Park Street Fair is a great excuse to flex those riding and walking muscles. Use the bike corral near the tennis courts and enter to win a fabulous new bicycle! As always, vehicle parking around Camel’s Back Park is extremely limited during the fair. Our friends at First Baptist Church have generously offered parking in their lot at 13th & Franklin, and will be providing a complimentary shuttle to the park. Disabled parking is also available (enter at 13th & Heron).

Wanted: Vintage Hyde Park Tees

NENA has sponsored the Hyde Park Street Fair for over 30 years and each year we’ve had a different street fair T-shirt for sale, all of them unique!

Although, we (the board) own a smattering of the T-shirts that have been available at the Fair over the years, we haven’t kept a comprehensive record of the more than 30 designs. At this year’s Fair, we hope to create a photodocumentary of the past three decades of T-shirt designs.

So, bring your vintage Hyde Park Street Fair T-shirts to the NENA booth at this year’s Fair. We will photograph each T-shirt and record the year it was designed. Be the first to bring a past year’s T-shirt to be photographed and receive this year’s annual Hyde Park Street Fair T-shirt for free (believe us, you’ll want this year’s).
